What information do we collect
We collect customer information needed to successfully process and ship an order. This information is stored and kept on our server and will not be disclosed to any third parties (except for parties that process payment information or when required by a court of law). Customer email is also stored and collected but on a local system and is not kept on the server for security. Shopping cart information are also kept and stored for registered customers while shopping cart from unregistered users are discarded after the session information expires. Website statistics including product statistics are being collected and is never disclosed to any third parties. We use this information for the purpose of improving our customer's shopping experience and gives us more information on what products our customers really want.
How we protect your information
We work very hard in keeping your information and your shopping safe and secure. We protect your information by ensuring we have up-to-date e-commerce software. We keep our system updated by checking security and software updates on a regular basis. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to make sure your information transmitted over the internet or any network is protected. Our SSL certificate is provided by COMODO SSL (http://www.instantssl.com) and credit card information and paypal account information is being processed on Paypal's website and we are not storing or collecting any credit card numbers or paypal account information on our web site.
We are working hard to be Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant which is a requirement for credit card processing as we are looking forward to accept credit card payments directly from our website.
Additional order confirmation
In order to provide additional security, we may confirm or validate an order by phone or email. This is usually done for first time customers with orders that are shipped to an address that is not the same as the billing address. We may also validate orders that seem suspicious or orders that exceed a certain amount. This is all being done to help protect our customers from fraudulent transactions and help protect our business.
Website newsletter subscription and product notifications
Our website newsletter is a way for us to inform our customers about new products, products updates or news about the world of bakugan. We do however have no intention of spamming our customer's email accounts and customers have the choice to subscribe or unsubscribe to our website newsletter and may do so by from their customer account page or at customer registration page. Product notifications can also be turned on and off from customer account page.

Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy notice applies to all information that we have about our customer and our customer's account. Our privacy policy is subject to change without prior notice so please make sure you read our privacy policy before placing your order.
